Splatoon’s cat judge Judd gets a tiny sidekick called Li’l Judd in Splatoon 2
If you played Splatoon, you know Judd. The cat was parked in the downtown hub area in between matches, but he was the one waving the flag of judgement whenever ink spilled on the battlefields.
Judd’s back in Splatoon 2, obviously, but he’s brought someone with him. Those who played the Testfire event a week or so ago saw him, but now Nintendo’s officially introduced the world to… wait for it… Li’l Judd.
This comes from the game’s official Tumblr page, and here’s a bit of what they said.
Okay, I’ll be the first to admit he’s adorable, but from what we’ve been able to observe, he’s gunning for Judd’s spot as premier Turf War judge like a bloodthirsty tiger crouching in the jungle underbrush. The details of his origins are still shrouded in mystery, but rest assured our research on this fuzzy subject will continue.
Whatever, Nintendo, Li’L Judd is cool. He’ll probably make me laugh as much as regular Judd, which is great.
Splatoon 2 launches this summer on the Nintendo Switch.
